Health

One of the big worries for a parent, who has just been told their child is gay, is the sexual health one. And is one of the first questions to be asked.

HIV and AIDS have been frightening us all for a long time and perhaps it should be mentioned here. Even though it began as an illness seemingly only to have hit the gay community it is now fully accepted that this is a problem all across the world and the heterosexual community is hardest hit world wide.

We would suggest that when you are thinking about your ‘out’ child that the sexual health advice to all your children is the same. They are all vulnerable.
